Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

According to sources close to Samsung's plans, the Galaxy Note 5 is being referred to as Project Noble (SM-N920) internally, reports Sammobile. Apart from 2K or 4K Super-Amoled display and Exynos 7422 SoC already tipped, the Note 5 is like previous Note handsets expected to come with S Pen functionality.
The latest report claims the both Project Noble and Project Zero 2 will come with regular accessories such as the Clear View cover, however, will also feature a Keyboard cover. While not many details are known about it, the name itself tips some sort of physical keypad accessory.
We hope the Clear View cover this time would be a much improved version than what is currently available for Galaxy S6 and Edge handsets. Notably, the Galaxy S6 andGalaxy S6 Edge owners around the globe seem are facing an issue with the official Clear View cover. As per users the Clear View cover by Samsung is said to be the culprit for several minute yet visible scratches on the handset's Corning Gorilla Glass 4-protected display.
Previous leaks of the Project Zen or Project Zero 2 handset dual-edge display phablet had tipped it would come with either a 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch dual-curved Super AMOLED display. The device might also house a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC, 32GB of inbuilt storage, 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Asus ZenBook UX305FAsus ZenBook UX305F

Asus ZenBook UX305F

The ZenBook UX305F is available in two colours, white and what Asus calls Obsidian Stone. We received the latter, and it's an unusual purplish-brown colour that looks different under different types of light.The UX305F is remarkably thin at 12.3mm and weighs just 1.2kg, making it very easy to carry around in one hand. Even the charger that ships with it is small and convenient, barely any larger than a tablet charger. You'll find two USB 3.0 ports and a full-sized SD card slot on the left, with another USB 3.0 port, Micro-HDMI video out, headset socket, LED status indicators and charger inlet on the right.
Specifications and software
At the heart of the ZenBook UX305F is a Core M-5Y10 processor, part of Intel's new line of ultra-low-power devices for exactly this kind of thin-and-light laptop. It has two CPU cores with Hyper-Threading and can scale its speed from 800MHz to 2.0GHz in order to balance power requirements. It also stays under a 4.5W TDP, which allows the UX305 to dispense with a cooling fan.The laptop comes with 4GB of RAM which cannot be upgraded, and a 256GB M.2 SSD module. Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel HD 5300 GPU. The 13.3-inch screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 and there's also Wi-Fi g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Asus advertises superior sound thanks to a tie-up with Bang & Olufsen. No other configuration options are available in India at this time, though more RAM, larger SSDs and higher-resolution screen options might come in later.
Performance
The ZenBook UX305F is a pleasure to work with. We appreciated how quickly it booted and how responsive it felt when loading and switching between programs. It's also completely silent thanks to the lack of fans and moving parts, which subtly gives this laptop an even more premium feel. The keyboard is crisp and comfortable. We sometimes found ourselves missing a touchscreen, but this was never a real annoyance.
With that said, the Core M processor definitely isn't a powerhouse. You'll be quite happy with it for most productivity and entertainment needs but we wouldn't try anything mission-critical on this laptop - and you can pretty much forget about playing 3D games at high quality settings.

Add Facebook Videos to your Website

Add Facebook Videos to your Website

Embed Facebook Video
First, let’s find a video on Facebook using Graph Search. Go to the search box and type a search query like videos of cats liked by my friends or videos uploaded by me or videos uploaded by my friends of friends.
Next click the video thumbnail to open the video play in a lightbox window. Hover your mouse over Options and choose Embed Video from the drop-down. Facebook will provide a snippet of code that you can directly copy and paste in your website template or your blog post.
The embedded videos are responsive and occupy the full width of the parent div. If you would like to constraint the video width or need to wrap text around the video, you’ll need to modify the .fb-video class as show in the snippet below:
<style>
  .fb-video {
    /* Do not occupy the full width*/
    max-width: 300px !important;
    /* Align the video to the right of a page and wrap the text */
    float: right;
        /* Add a Grey border to the video */
    border: 2px solid grey;
  }

Xiaomi Mi Band

Xiaomi Mi Band

Xiaomi is creating a lot of buzz across product categories at the moment. Excellent pricing has kept demand for its products high, and limited supplies have increased their appeal.

Design and features
The Mi Band is comprised of two components - the band itself and a Bluetooth capsule that tracks your activity. The product has no screen, but its three LED indicators let you know how close you are to achieving your daily step goal at any given point. The capsule can track your sleep patterns, let you unlock your phone without a password when it is nearby, and vibrate to alert you about incoming calls and alarms. It has a smooth metal surface with the three LEDs on top, though the side in contact with your arm is made of plastic.
Tracking and accuracy
The lack of a screen means that the Xiaomi Mi Band relies heavily on the companion Mi Fit app for iOS and Android. The app isn't very well designed and it took us a few attempts to create a Mi account and sign up for the required service. The app initially didn't allow us to log in till we made a few attempts, but that was fixed with an update midway through the review period.

Sony SmartWatch 3

Sony SmartWatch 3

Sony isn't new to smartwatches, as is obvious from the '3' at the end of this product's name. The first and second iterations didn't become quite as popular as Sony would have liked, and both had too many weaknesses to be considered competitive in the smartwatch category. This latest model has made one key change: it uses the excellent Android Wear operating system.
At Rs. 19,990, the SmartWatch 3 is also the most expensive Android Wear device available in India right now. Considering that the popular LG G Watch and even theMotorola Moto 360 are available for much less, does Sony offer enough to justify the high price tag? We find out in our review.
Design and display

When the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live were launched last year, the primary criticism they faced was the square design, which made them look less like watches and more like boxy wrist computers. The Sony SmartWatch 3 uses this same square design, with a 1.6-inch 320x320- pixel display. The resolution is slightly better than that of the Moto 360 and a fair bit better than that of the G Watch. The difference is visible; it's cleaner and sharper. Sunlight visibility is also better thanks to the improved brightness. However, we still prefer the look of the round Moto 360. Other Android Wear options such as the LG G Watch R, Asus ZenWatch and Huawei Watch are also far more attractive than the square SmartWatch 3.
Specifications and Performance

The Sony SmartWatch 3 uses a 1.2GHz quad-core processor from Broadcom, making it the first Android smartwatch to utilise a Broadcom SoC. Other specifications are fairly standard, including 4GB of internal memory (which can only be used for storing audio for use with Google Play Music), 512MB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, GPS, ambient light sensor, and a 420mAh battery. As with all Android Wear devices, the SmartWatch 3 needs an Android smartphone running version 4.3 of the OS or above with the Android Wear app installed. The watch is currently running Wear 5.0.2, which is the most current version of Android Wear available.

OnePlus 10000mAh Power Bank at Rs.1,399

OnePlus 10000mAh Power Bank at Rs.1,399

OnePlus, as promised, has launched its Power Bank in India. It is now available to buy via exclusive online partner Amazon.
Called the OnePlus Power Bank, it features a 10000mAh capacity, and will be available in Silk White and Sandstone Black colours, just like the OnePlus One smartphones themselves. It is now available to buy at Rs. 1,399.
The OnePlus Power Bank bears two USB ports for simultaneous charging, and takes roughly 5.5 hours to charge itself. It has dimensions 142.8x72.6x16.2mm, and weighs 220 grams. The Power Bank sports battery indicator LEDs while also offering safety features to prevent overcharging and overheating. The box includes the OnePlus Power Bank and a USB cable.
The newly launched OnePlus Power Bank featuring 10000mAh battery will be up against the likes of Xiaomi's Mi 10400 mAh Power Bank that is available at a lower price of Rs. 999 and the Asus ZenPower portable charger featuring 10050mAh capacity at Rs. 1,499.

Last month, OnePlus India Head Vikas Agarwal on the official forum had confirmed the 10000mAh Power Bank would be available in India. Apart from the Power Bank, Agarwal also confirmed that the Bamboo Covers for the One smartphone would be available in India soon. At the time of writing, the OnePlus One Bamboo Covers were not available on Amazon India.

How to Make Your Portable Dropbox

How to Make Your Portable Dropbox

http://thetechjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/portable-dropbox-ttj-logo.jpg
When it comes to accessing our Dropbox folder, there are many ways to do it. You can install the Dropbox desktop client on all your computers, open the browser and access the web version of Dropbox, or if you are on the move and own an Android, iPhone or Blackberry, you can download the app and access it on the move. If none of the above work for you, one last way is to carry your Dropbox on your USB drive and bring it everywhere you go.

DropboxPortableAHK is a Dropbox portable app. It is based on the AutoHotKey script and allows you to place your Dropbox folder in a USB drive and sync it anywhere, everywhere.

 Steps:-

1. Download DropboxPortableAHK (~0.5MB, zip file)
2. Unzip the zip file. Plug in your USB drive and move the “DropboxPortableAHK” folder (the folder that you have just unzipped) to the USB drive.
3. Open the DropboxPortableAHK folder and double click the “DropboxPortableAHK.exe” file to run it.
4. It will prompt you to download the Dropbox daemon. Click Ok to proceed. If you are interested, you can also get it to download the beta version of Dropbox.

5. After the download finished, the configuration window will appear. From here, you can set your Dropbox folder and configure the app to update automatically.

http://cloud.addictivetips.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/DropboxPortableAHK.jpg
6. Lastly, it will walk you through the Dropbox setup process. If your USB drive comes with limited capacity (say 2GB or less), it is best for you to select “Selective Sync” and select only the important folders to sync.

DropboxPortableAHK is not affiliated with Dropbox.com, but it is still easy to install and use. If you really need to bring your Dropbox on your USB drive, this is the best solution.

How to Edit PDF Files for Free

How to Edit PDF Files for Free

 http://techraze.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/pdf.jpg

On the Web (Works on Android, BlackBerry 10)

If you don't have a Windows or a Mac machine, or if you don't want to install any applications, head to PDF Buddy for basic editing tools. This website also works for editing pdf files on an Android phone, but not on iOS devices. In case you want to try the website first, PDF Buddy lets you use basic features (adding shapes, symbols, text, whiteout and highlight) without creating an account. You will have to create an account if you want to do anything useful like save or download the edited file, add images or signatures to the pdf file. You can edit up to three pdf files a month for free. The website asks you to pay $8 (roughly Rs 500) per month to let you edit an unlimited number of files.

1. Drag a pdf file into the browser or click the Choose PDF to Edit button on the website and then select the file you want to edit.
2. Now, PDF Buddy will open the file (might take long for large files). Once it opens, you'll see a set of editing tools on the left side of the file.
3. The editing tools are fairly straightforward, since the name of each tool tells you what it does. You can choose the text tool to edit text and whiteout tool to erase text. Note that only two fonts are supported (Arial and Times). You can also highlight text, add images and signatures, using the corresponding tools.
4. Below the tools mentioned above, PDF Buddy has shapes and symbols, which you can add to your file. You can use symbols such as "thumbs up", "thumbs down" and "arrows" as bullet points or for annotations if needed.
5. Above the pdf file, you'll see arrows pointing to the right and left. Use these to move to the next or previous page.
6. When you finish editing, hit the Save button at the top of the page. This will save a copy of the file on the website. If you want to save it on your computer, click the Download button that's next to the Save button.

 For desktops and laptops

 For those who use Windows, Mac or Linux, LibreOffice Draw may be the best programme for editing text in pdf files. LibreOffice is a full office suite and you'll have to download the setup file for the whole suite to use Draw.

1. LibreOffice Draw can open pdf files without any configuration. All you have to do is press Ctrl+O or click File > Open, and select your pdf file.
2. All the tools are laid out at the bottom and should be familiar to anyone who has used MS Word. Click on the line you need to start editing and get to work.
3. Before you get to editing, note that LibreOffice Draw can make formatting go haywire. We imported a pdf file with bullet points, symbols and underlines. Draw moved all of these and it took us a lot of time to restore these to their original positions.
4. To align various elements, just click and drag to move them.
5. As long as your system has the font used in the pdf file, text editing is fairly easy. All you need to do is select the text you want to edit and start typing. Each line of text, bullet point, underline, etc. appear as an object in Draw.
6. When you finish editing, select the Export as PDF option in the File menu.

Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 5 Plus Specifications

Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 5 Plus Specifications

The latest leak also adds an element of surprise claiming that a bigger variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5 might be also revealed, purportedly dubbed Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus. The leak even claims that the Mi 5 Plus will be unveiled alongside the Mi 5 in July.
Gizmochina via Weibo has also received some purported specifications of the Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus. According to the leaked specifications, the Mi 5 will feature a 5.2-inch display; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor; 3GB or 4GB of RAM; a 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
The new leaked details, contradicting a report that surfaced last week, claimed that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will not sport fingerprint scanner. Preliminary leaks have suggested the Mi 5's screen resolution will be QHD (1440x2560 pixels).
The Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 6-inch 2K display with a design sporting nearly bezel-less display. Other specifications include 4GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage, and a 16-megapixel rear camera, likely to be same as the Mi 5.

Public Transport Easy With Ridlr

Public Transport Easy With Ridlr

Whether you're clueless about bus routes, or unable to locate the nearest Metro station, Ridlr is a public transport app that can help. The service is currently available in 9 cities - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Indore, Jaipur, Mumbai and Pune - and Hyderabad is coming soon. The app sets your location automatically but you can change it if you want. You can use the app to locate nearby bus stops, metro stations (in Delhi) and plan your travel by entering a destination to see the best route to get there.
When you start the app, the screen is divided into three sections. You can choose either "View TimeTable", "Plan Your Travel", or "Favourite Time Table". If you swipe in from the left, you can see another menu, which includes a "Home" button to take you back to the starting screen at any time, and "Nearby Stops", which shows bus stops and Metro stations in your vicinity. To find the best route or to look up timetables, you have to go to the home screen.
While testing the app, we selected Delhi, and we could view the timetables for bus and metro services. When you click on the timetable of bus it will take you to the next screen, where one can search for the route. Enter the bus number in the search box and it will display the total number of stops along which the bus plies. In the next page one can find the nearest bus stop to board. It then lists the expected time of arrival of the bus.
You can also change the date and time to see which bus on your route will arrive first. If it is your regular route, then one can save it as a favourite. If a particular time suits you, say 10AM, then you can tap it and the app will display a map and the number of bus stops along the chosen route, and the expected arrival time at each stop. You can zoom in the map in full screen, and see the route and time by tapping on the boarding stop and the end stop.
