The Galaxy Note Edge comes with a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 x 160 (edge) pixels and bearing 524 pixels-per-inch (PPI). It is packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz. On the memory side, it has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with expansion possible via a microSD card slot. The camera has been improved this year to a 16MP sensor with autofocus, a LED flash, Samsung’s own ISOCELL technology for low-light pictures, the ability to take live HDR shots and much needed Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Samsung even gave some attention to the 3.7MP front-facing camera (FFC) by giving it a 120-degree wide angled lens for capturing those group selfies or for a boardroom video chat.
The Galaxy Note Edge also has a 3000mAh battery that will get you through the entire day, as well as Samsung’s UPSM (Ultra Power Saving Mode) and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 to help you out when even more power is needed. It has an IR Blaster, a full metal frame and trim, download booster, LTE Cat-6 capabilities, a fingerprint scanner, Heart Rate Sensor, UV and Oxygen Saturation Sensor. It also carries an S-Pen and adds all of those great features and software.
